Dr. Xiaolong Mi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Land Surveying and Geospatial Science (LSGS) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he leads the Intelligent Computational Geodesy and PNT Lab. His research focuses on high-precision positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), applying advanced geodetic modeling, multi-GNSS processing, and AI-enhanced methods to improve PNT accuracy and reliability in challenged environments. His applications span terrestrial positioning, low-altitude platforms, LEO orbit determination, and lunar navigation. Dr. Mi holds dual Ph.D. degrees from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Curtin University. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed papers and serves as PI or Co-PI on multiple funded projects focusing on resilient, next-generation PNT.
